AltBrau + SF Beer Week 2020!

The wait is over! AltBrau will be pouring some of our recent creations courtesy of our friends at Shady Oak Barrel House in Santa Rosa, CA. Come out to beautiful Sonoma County and celebrate the first Saturday of SF Beer Week with us. In addition to a wonderful selection of Shady Oak beers (including their new IPAs) we will be serving the following:

DRAFT:
Know the Truth - An American Saison aged 11 months in red wine barrel. Brewed with malted barley, malted wheat, and flaked oats. Hopped with Czech Saaz. This recipe is our interpretation of the traditional farmhouse ales of Belgium and France. - 6.5% Alc / Vol

The Sound of the Beast - Mixed culture golden ale fermented and aged 10 months in a red wine barrel. Brewed with 100% California grown barley and wheat. Bittered with aged hops. Inspired by the spontaneously fermented beers of Belgium. - 6.6% Alc / Vol

Frail Vine - A Blend of two beers aged in oak an average of 10 months. Brewed with malted barley, malted wheat, raw wheat, and flaked oats. Re-fermented on Boysenberries and Marionberries from Sonoma county at over 2lbs of fruit per gallon of beer. - 6.8% Alc / Vol

Gorsem (500ml) - Mixed culture golden ale aged 6 months in oak and re-fermented with Belgian cherry juice - 6.6% Alc / Vol (onsite only - 6 available)

AHPQ (500ml) - Mixed culture golden ale aged 6 months in oak and conditioned on apples, pear, and quince. Re-fermented with honey - 6.8% Alc / Vol (onsite only - 6 available)

Secret Army 2018 (750ml) - Mixed culture saison. Aged 6 months in red wine barrel. Lightly dry hopped with Czech Saaz. - 5.9% Alc / Vol (onsite only - 6 available)

New Lexicon 2018 (750ml) - Mixed culture golden ale. Aged 6 months in red wine barrel. Dry hopped with 4lbs of Ekuanot in the barrel - 5.9% Alc / Vol (onsite only - 6 available)

Cellar Wizard: Ammani 2018 (750ml) - Collab with Shady Oak Barrel House. Blend of mixed culture golden ales aged in oak. Conditioned on dried Persian limes. Dry hopped with Citra and Amarillo - 6.8% Alc / Vol (onsite and to-go - no limit)
